The Fall - How I wrote `Elastic Man`/City Hobgoblins - Rough Trade - RT048
I cannot see a date on this, but I`ve checked online and apparently it`s from July 1980, which is probably when I bought it. 
This was recorded at a studio in Rochdale and the lacquer was cut by a studio employee nicknamed Porky. On the run-out, he etched in messages identifying it as `a Porky prime cut` and adding two additional comments - `George Best knows this` (side one) and, more cryptically, `there is no mail at the house of contempt` (side two) plus some seemingly random letters etc. If I understand correctly, these identify this disc as the first pressing. 
Sleeve - clean, intact, undamaged. Some wear, including ringwear.
Labels - clean, unmarked
Vinyl - I have played both sides through. I heard a couple of faint clicks towards the end of `Elastic Man`, but these were not obtrusive. Someone else would probably not have mentioned them but I like to be as accurate as possible. There were no other defects and no reduction in sound quality.
If anyone would like it sent by a tracked/signed for service, that`s no problem, but there may be an extra charge, depending where in the world you are.
