Description
The Feel Of Neil Diamond 1966 Debut RARE 1st Press Mono VG/VG.
For auction is a very good listeners copy of The Feel Of Neil Diamond, the debut of the iconic singer, songwriter and musician. Originally released in August 1966, the album features Diamond’s first three hits, all of which landed in the top 60 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Cherry, Cherry” peaked at #6, “Oh No No” hit #16 and “Solitary Man” reached #55. The latter also was the original name of the record as seen on the spine of the cover. The album was only released on record and reel to reel and never on CD making it rare. This copy is a first press.
Vinyl is play graded VG. Some light visible surface marks but nothing deep. Plays with mild background noise at times that is never overwhelming. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.
Cover is also in VG condition. Minor shelf wear on corners and seams except on the bottom where there is a split in middle about two inches long. The bottom left corner is peeling a little. The other edges have no splits and the title side is perfect. Light ring wear on both sides and price sticker and pen writing on lower right side of back. Please see pics.
Good luck bidding and thank you for looking!!
