The Gordons - 1st Self-Titled LP - Flying Nun Europe - FNE-16 - PLAYED ONLY ONCE - SUPER RARE & OOP This is one of the finest albums that ever emanated from New Zealand. If you like Bailter Space, the Pin Group, Roy Montgomery, Shadow Ring, Dead C, etc., you need to hear this record immediately. It's flat out amazing. The Gordons basically perfected the whole Sonic Youth / My Bloody Valentine style clanging noise - shoegaze rock thing way before either of those bands pressed anything to vinyl. Talk about pioneers. This record has been out of print for nearly 20 years now. It is pressed on Flying Nun Europe and I only played the vinyl once, so it is in fantastic condition. The sleeve is in great shape as well. It has a tiny bit of sticker residue on it and a corner has a tiny bend mark. Otherwise, it looks fantastic for its age and is pretty much in the exact same excellent condition as when I picked it up all those years ago. You probably won't find a copy that is in this condition!
I have been an avid music collector for over 30 years now but due to space limitations I am looking to slim my collection down a bit. Please give this item a happy home! It has always been exceptionally well cared for and been in a smoke-free environment.
