Description

An original 1st stereo UK 'Greatest' on UK Parlophone. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 1O/1T [one of the 1st few thousand copies pressed]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo cover with flipbacks exposed. Also included is the original Sepia toned Emi advertising inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In beautiful condition having only seen very light use. Under close inspection I couldn't make out anything more than a few very inconsequential marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. If you're looking for the perfect copy - you came a knockin' at the right door! This copy is nigh on perfect. Perfectly quiet intros and inbetweens - the audio comes across with superb clarity. Such low-mileage is clearly helping the audio - but I'd imagine those very early stampers are taking it up to the next level. I can't find fault... it plays clean into all the quiet areas. At worst a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. >>>FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly been cared for down the years. The front is perfectly preserved with barely a crease. The rear has almost entirely avoided the ageing process - just slightest trace at the opening. Edge wear is extremely limited. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Hardly any ageing. No splits. Nice!
