Description

The-In-Betweens - You Better Run (Demo) Very Rare First Single Released On 2nd December 1966 By The Group Who Were Going To Become Slade. A Freak Beat Cover Version Released On The Columbia Record Label (DB 8080)(Matrix 7 XCA 27843-1) 
The Demo Is Credited To The In-Be-Tweens This Was Changed On The Official Release To The 'N' Betweens. A Side Written By Cavaliere/Brigatti (The Demo Version Has The Name Spelled Cavalaere This Was Corrected On The Official Release) The B Side Written By Fowley/Powell/Hill/Holder/Lee. Produced By Kim Fowley.
This Is The Original 1966 Release Of The Single It Was Re Released In 2005 As A Limited Edition In This Demo Form You Can Tell The Re Release As The Hole In The Middle Is Smooth Where They Used A Black Plastic Push Out Tri Center. The 1966 Original Has A Moulded Center Or As In This Case Where It Has Been Lost There Are 4 Dents Where The Center Was Pushed Out. (Please See Scans/Pictures) If You Look On 45 Cat There Are Pictures Of The Re Release With The Smooth Hole.
A Great Collectable Single And A Must For All Slade Fans! This Copy Has Writing On The Label And Someone Has Drawn Around The Edge Of The Label In Green Felt Pen. Surface Wear And Light Scratches You Would Expect From A 49 Year Old Record But In Good Condition And Plays Well. In Plain White Sleeve
I Was At First Annoyed When I Purchased It That The Label Had Been Drawn On But Today When Looking On The Net I Discovered A Picture Of This Very Copy With The Same Writing And Green Pen On Don Powell's Official Website! The Only Reason I Can Think Of This Is That Before I Owned It This Copy Was Owned By Either Someone To Do With Don's Website Or Don Himself.
