#298 visually graded vinyl VG++/Near-MINT Jacket EX
The Joneses were a band out of Boston. The blues based rock group shipped their lone album, Hard, in 1990, which is filled-out with eleven mid-paced songs. Peaking with the low slung title track, the collection of cuts are accented by the David Finnerty's vocals. The Joneses sound as if they were schooled on Free and Bad Company LPs, and Finnerty does his best to imitate the soulful pipes of the legendary Paul Rodgers. The Joneses drop down the following message on their Atlantic Records release: "Life is a hard road, full of mean women who need a little love."
