Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland 2LP
Original 1968 UK release on Track Records, 613008/9
This is not a reissue but the original 1968 UK release.
Discerning characteristics of this version (as per Discogs listing):
Cover spread is fully laminated inside and out
Hendrix on the right hand side when opening the gatefold (behind back sleeve)
Small sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with white tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo center, E.J.Day print data to left. Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles.
NO printing to the left of the Track logo inside the gatefold.
Discs in poly-lined white paper punch-hole sleeves. "Patent no 800513 & 973939" "Made in England 108 42".
Disc 1 carries sides A and D, disc two has B and C.
On disc 2, side C the machine-stamped run-out has been scratched out and the correct info has been added by hand.
In the BAOI field a ''▒'' denotes a scratched-out character
Sleeve is in a good VG+ condition with some edge and corner wear, some of the laminate is starting to lift, wear in the gatefold seam...the usual wear and tear for an LP this old but this is better than most first presses you'll find. The original Inner sleeves have age related discolouration etc but NO SPLITS!, vinyls EX with some hairlines and wispy hairlines etc but they play perfectly
