White text, Hendrix portrait on left behind front cover, small sepia pictures of Mitchell and Redding underneath, behind back cover.
Plastic lined inner sleeves intact if a little on the tatty side.

Cover
I would say good to very good for its age with just a few creases. Spine is good with slight wear to the top and bottom. Openings to cover are a little soft (laminate does not go to the edges - this is how it was designed) but are nonetheless intact. A number has been written on the inside of the opening for the second disc (I bought this second hand around 1980).
Vinyl
Disc one: a good number of small marks and one or two larger ones that will definitely be heard in playback but I do not recall these producing jumps and I don't think these actually detract too much from the playback quality.
Disc two: generally as disc one, but perhaps a little cleaner overall. I think there may be some warping which may impact on playback (depending on arm/cartridge weighting etc.)
Overall comments
The vinyl isn't in the best condition but the album has a really excellent production and plays with a lovely rich, mellow sound.
