ORIGINAL 1968 'TRACK RECORD' LABEL : 'ELECTRIC LADYLAND' by HENDRIX
LP 613008 has sides A & D; LP 613009 has sides B & C
Rare defect in matrix stampings on this issue, altered by hand. Vinyl reads:
Side A: 61300##(8) A//1 12 15, Side D: 61300#(8) B//1 15 5, Side B: 61300#(9A) # //1 1 15, Side C: (613009B) ####### //1 5 2, where # indicates a scratch-out, and bracketed parts are inscribed by hand. See info links below
White inner sleeves with polythene windows.
Early green tint cover photo (not clear in my pics)
Condition commensurate with age; minor surface scuffs and a couple of scratches, worst one to side D, but ALL sides play without clicks or jumps on my Technics deck, and sound good.
The cover has been personalised with stickers in 1968 and then covered with book film to protect it, which it has certainly done well. Inside gatefold is taped a small cutting from Disc& Music Echo 05/11/1966 mentioning ‘the Jimmy Hendricks Experience’ (!) The disc labels also have stickers, see pics.
