<< ORIGINAL 1969 UK PYE STEREO (NSPL 18317) LP WITH VERY RARE UK INSERT >>
Arthur or the decline and fall of the British empire, this is complete with ultra rare UK insert, one of the hardest inserts to locate in a UK LP this is normally missing, I would say not all original pressings had this insert as it is really so hard to locate. I have seen sellers sell this LP with a non UK insert, the difference is the tab that says pull at the top ,the common USA insert do not have this tab, a vital difference. The record on offer here is in superb M- condition and the rare insert is also great, the fragile cover does have some wear but I will say I have seen many far worse than this , the cover as I am sure you will know is very fragile in is real hard to locate in top shape ,take a look at the pictures and thanks for looking.
The gatefold cover is still presentable and as stated a real hard cover to get in top condition, as per usual with this cover it has corner wear to the top and bottom of the spine (see picture 4 below) that has made 2 small tears (1cm) there is also some lamination lifting at the edge of the spine (once again normal for this LP) with a little rubbing to the edges (mainly top). The lamination on the cover is very clean and the cover is still strong and still looks fine. The cover grades a strict Very Good condition and if not for the ends of the spine a much higher grade would have been used. Remember only 1 run of these gatefold covers where made then changed for a single non gatefold cover.
The Record
The LP is is in super like new condition with full new looking gloss and is the best example of this record I have ever offered ,the record plays superb on both sides and is graded a brilliant Near Mint condition a really top example.
The record is hosed in its original polylined inner cover in Excellent+ condition
The Labels
Both labels as you will see below are in superb condition.
The Insert
The ultra rare UK insert is in a super Excellent condition if not better!!! only having 1 crease by the crown there are NO tears or pin holes and this will be very hard to locate better.
We use the UK grading system E.G. /VG / EX / MINT. We also use + and - if there are slight differences between the grades.

**All Records are sent out in plastic covers with the record placed out of the front cover to prevent the cover from getting knifed. All records are sent out in strong mailers with added protection to make sure that they reach you in the condition that they leave here in.**
**For each record or item sent out I will fill out a separate Proof of Postage slip that is date stamped with the address of the destination of the parcel. Insurance will cost extra and is highly recommended, I will not be responsible if this is not taken for items lost in the post.**
