Pye New Zealand 1967 first pressing
Mono NPL 18193

This is the rarest of the rare mono New Zealand pressing. Because New Zealand relied on importing metal stampers from the UK for its local record manufacturing in 1967, this copy features the exact same UK A-1 / B-1 lacquer cuts in the dead wax, meaning it shares the identical master audio mix as the British first pressings. The mono release has far superior sound mixing as compared with the stereo version. The sleeve is a non-laminated flip-back with a pinched spine.

Matrix A side: NPL 18193A-1 * M
Matrix B side: NPL 18193B-1 * M

Record grading: VG+ plays through very well with excellent sound quality. One scratch on the edge of the B side prevents it from being graded higher.
Sleeve grading: VG+ marks where stickers have been in both top corners. Damage to the spine. Writing on the inside (please see photos). In unusually good condition for a non-laminated sleeve of its age.
