The Lonesome Train (A Musical Legend) Decca Records (DA-375) (1944) Decca Personality Series (3) x Shellac 78 RPM The discs remain in excellent condition. Super clean for a seventy six year old set. It is possible that the set has never been played, perhaps once. The discs have only superficial sleeve scuffs. These are few and faint. No heavy scratches. The nostalgic Decca labels are pristine. No 'skid marks' are visible around the spindle holes. The album cover has only one issue, that being the binding. The back cover is completely removed from the rest of the set, as pictured above. Otherwise, the album cover has vibrant colors and graphics. Front and back still maintain a gloss. It has only a light touch of surface wear. The nationwide final ride for Abraham Lincoln, as put to words and music by Earl Robinson and Millard Lampell. Future folk legends Pete Seeger and Burl Ives were part of the production. A rare and iconic album. Vintage format.
