Description
The Mama's & The Papa's "The Mama's & The Papa's"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Dunhill D-50010 from 1966. This was their second album with their names at the top : Cass, John, Michelle, and Dennie. This copy is Mono and still sealed. It's actually a second pressing, because it has the "Gold Record Award" logo printed on the front and back cover. ( this is very common on stereo pressings and very rare on mono pressings) This album has their huge hits : 'Words Of Love' and 'I Saw Her Again'. They are backed up by the famous LA studio pros : Larry Knectels, Joe Osborne, and Tommy Tedesco. The engineer was Bones Howe. It was produced by Lou Adler. Album cover photos are by Guy Webster.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M / Record is presumed M
The cover is Mint with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. There is very tiny drill hole at bottom left. The cover is still sealed and the record is presumed perfect.

About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

This record will weigh 19 ounces ( 1 pound, 3 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.
