Important: A Very Good (VG) grade does not mean a vinyl without flaws. That said VG records, which usually sell for much less than a NM record, are among the biggest bargains in record collecting because most of the "big money" goes for more perfect copies. For many listeners, a VG record is worth the money (unless you are totally anal about sound quality). Some play wear may be evident, as are light scratches deep enough to feel. When played, a VG record often has some surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages, deadwax between tracks, and during a song's intro and ending - but the noise should not overpower the music otherwise. VG vinyl records should NOT have any skips. They should play thru completely. A good cleaning can often improve a VG record audio - but you should ONLY use accepted cleaning methods.
