Description

So. I won't go into too many details as I'm sure if you are looking at this auction you know about Phil Elv(e)rum and the extreme rarity of this LP.

The record is in EXCELLENT condition, as is the cover and insert.

Contains 26 songs.

Extensive liner notes written by Phil.

Each cover is a recycled LP cover turned inside-out and uniquely hand-painted by Phil.

This one is a mountain in a sea w/sort of a time-lapse sun going across the sky.

There's a slew of The Microphones & Mt. Eerie friends on here... KARL BLAU , JASON ANDERSON , KHAELA MARICICH , NATE ASHLEY , MIRAH , and others.

I hadn't listened to this in years, but as a precaution I just did & made a tape of it for posterity ... again, it's in fantastic shape! Oh, and it's a great album. Really orchestral and fun.

Insurance is included in the U.S. shipping cost.

Overseas shipping varies by country.

Please email if you have any questions.

I'll have some more auctions up shortly, so have a look at 'em if you're inclined.

Thanks.

"Phil released 'Blood' to show that "The Microphones is a big wide thing, not just a guy and his songs". It has very early versions of songs that would later appear on the Glow Pt. 2, musical collages, impromtu singing, extracts from songs, field recordings, Mirah tracks, alternate versions and a Bjork cover among many other delightful things. The liner notes are very thorough in giving the provenance of the songs and players, and why they were made, and these also serve as track names"
