Description

An original 1st issue of ISOTLC on the UK Decca label from 1968. Matrix 2W/3W. Stampers 1K/1K. Please note that the tape number is inverted and the 'All Rights..' statement runs at the foot of the label - all indicative of 1st issue. I would estimate this copy originates from a couple of months after 1st release whilst still charting. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original 'stereo' Robert Stace cover with the pocket added to the cover on the right hand panel [per 1st issue]. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAREXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. Expect a touch of light static in a couple of spots per side, and perhaps one brief click in the intro to side 1. A very nice playing copy with little to object to.
Cover (Ex) In superb condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely solid shiny front cover which looks impeccably preserved - just a tiny crease extreme top-right. The rear looks equally good with perhaps just the faintest hint of ageing and one tiny crease top-left corner. The interior is in amazing condition with barely a whiff of ageing. Edge wear is pretty light for this title with the opening card sheet still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits or markings. Light ageing.
