Description

An original 1st stereo press of ...'The Lost Chord' on the Deram label from 1968. Matrix 1W/1W. Stampers 1C/1K - indicating this is from around/within the first thousand copies ever produced. The labels exhibit the deep groove which would only have been present on the very earliest pressing along with 'All Rights' statement at the foot of the label. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo gatefold cover printed by Robert Stace with the internal pocket on the right-side. Also included is the original white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg) Remains in decent condition despite having seen a moderate level of use. Please note there are many marks - but nothing really feelable or likely to cause issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERYGOOD level of playback. The audio is still pretty good, but do expect a bit of crackle. It's never really that invasive, but it is audible more so in the quieter sections.
Cover (Vg) In very nice condition with a shiny front and back and only light handling wear. The interior is slightly affected by some foxing and an address in the top-left corner. Edge wear is reasonably light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit aged, but no splits.
