Description

An original 1st issue from summer 1969 whilst the album charted. Matrix 2W/2W - 1st cut. Also note how the DERAM logo doesn't exhibit "R" for trade mark registration [these are the earlier copies]. The vinyl comes housed in a laminated gatefold sleeve which helps to protect the covers and gives it more rigidity, the peep-hole is also present. These 1st issue covers were printed by Garrod & Lofthouse and have the lyric booklet attached/stapled into the mid-section [not loose]. We also have the original Decca blue and white inner sleeve. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very decent condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very superficial marks per side - nothing troublesome or heavy. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly a EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. By and large a very nice clean player. The only thing noticeable I picked up was a few crackles right at the outset where the computer dialogue starts. Other than that a very solid player.
Cover (Ex-) A very nice looking cover with couple of creases and lovely bold colours fully preserved. The interior looks great with only lightest handling wear. The booklet is complete and doesn't appear to have been heavily thumbed. Edge wear is limited for this title. The text on the spine is fully legible with just some laminate coming away. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner Sleeve (Ex-) Lightest ageing. Bag present. No splits.
