Withdrawn
One of the most important and ambitious records in the Zappa canon — a sprawling, visionary double LP that pushed the boundaries of what a rock record could be. This is a genuine US first pressing, carefully examined and documented.
Vinyl: VG+ — All four sides look to be in shape for a 57 year old record. Clean labels. Zero damage, light hairlines at most. Bright and shiny. Would benefit from a clean.
Sleeve: VG+ — Original gatefold with the iconic Cal Schenkel collage artwork intact and looking great. A little wear on the spine.
Inserts: Original black Bizarre/Straight promotional inner sleeve present — includes the famous "Zappéd" sampler coupon and First Amendment text. One is a little creased
No booklet.
First pressing identifiers confirmed:
- Teal/turquoise Bizarre label with "Distributed by Warner Bros – Seven Arts Records, Inc." — Seven Arts was absorbed by Kinney in late 1969, dating this to the earliest possible pressing
- Side I label reads "9 Types Of Industrial Pollution" (numeral — later corrected to "Nine")
- Side II label reads "Electric Aunt Jemina" (misspelling — later corrected to "Jemima")
- Both variations confirmed on label and inner gatefold
