Description

Nice clean  1st pressing UK Mono copy of The Paul Butterfield Blues Band’s classic 1965 debut album on the rare ‘guitar player’ Elektra label. The vinyl was manufactured in the UK and routinely placed in US sleeves by the record company for these 1st issues. Matrices are EKL-294-UK-A/EKL-294-UK-B. Priced at £200 for a Mint copy in the RRPG, this example represents good value for money and a nice collector’s item which should appreciate in value..

Sleeve VG+ In very good shape for its age. Some light storage wear and rubbing, and some age-related light discolouration to the reverse. But really not bad at all for its 55 years!
 
Labels Ex+ Rough-textured. Very clean, no marks or writing. Light to moderate spindle traces.

Inner VG+ Polylined bag, possibly the original.

Record Visually a strong VG+, good shine to the vinyl. Some light hairlines and scuffs but nothing serious or feelable. Fully play-tested and sounds great, clear and well-defined audio with some inevitable light crackle during the few quiet moments.
