History:

·       In 1967, Leo the Lion Records, a sub-label of MGM, released the narrative album titled 'The Official Adventures of Mandrake and the Phantom' (Record number: CH-1041). This series, 'The Official Adventures of...,' comprised a total of three records based on characters from King Features Syndicate: Mandrake the Magician and The Phantom, Flash Gordon (CH-1028), and Prince Valiant (CH-1047).

·       This Leo The Lion Records ‎– CH-1041 mail-order vinyl LP album was available through mail order in 1966/1967, facilitated by King Comic Books – Phantom: Issue #27 & #28, Flash Gordon: #11, and Mandrake #10.

·       A Title: The Official Adventures of the Phantom – The Astronaut and the Pirates 15:01

Details:

·       The Official Adventures of Mandrake and the Phantom" was recorded at Capitol Studios, N.Y.C., in 1967. It was written by John Fleming, with Lee Falk serving as the primary consultant. The cast features Jackson Beck as the narrator, Bret Morrison (known for radio's The Shadow), Lon Clark, Boris Aplon, George Petrie, Elaine Hyman, and Bob Dryden.

Package Preparation:
