This superb UK 1st stereo pressing dates from initial April 1966 release on the grooved Decca label: SKL.4786

Both labels have the earliest design for this highly successful album.


Matrices: XZAL-7209-2W & XZAL-7210-2W

Stamper codes: 1/H & 1/H

A 'KT' purchase tax code is stamped into both run-outs.

Vinyl weight: 141g


Housed in a front laminated, 'Robert Stace' printed stereo cover.

Complete with an original poly-lined Decca stereo inner-sleeve.

 

CONDITION

Visual: MINT -

Flawless, factory-fresh playing surfaces which are totally unmarked in both strong daylight AND directly beneath halogen light. Both labels are clean with just a small number of faint, well-aimed spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.

Audio: MINT

Played just a couple of times on quality equipment only, the sound quality is clean & clear with no trace of any wear or distractions. You won't find a better sounding copy of this pressing.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A 1st class example of this easily worn cover which retains clean, unscratched front laminate without any 'thumbnail' wrinkles and just a very faint unavoidable disc impression. All corners are in great shape and both opening edges are clean and sharp. The exposed rear panel has some toning along the upper edge but is otherwise clean and unblemished. Both seams and the spine are fully intact and the spine is undamaged and fully worded.
