Description

An original 1st stereo press of BB on the UK Decca label from 1968. Matrix 4K/4K. Stampers 1-KM/1-IG. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Well, this really is an absolute tour-de-force copy and I've certainly not heard much better. Beautiful faithfully rendered audio all the way through. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. So, please rest assured that this copy will deliver you an absolutely top-line rendition of this STONES classic from beginning to end. Be that in the quiet sections or in the more complex passages..just top-level through and through. No Expectations/Prodigal Son...just sound amazing on a nice early clean copy...Superb! 
Cover (Ex) In great condition and it's a real treat seeing one of these original copies looking quite this clean. A lovely white front cover with just a couple of tiny thumbnail creases, and a tiny black blemish below the "S" of Stones. It seems to have avoided most of the ageing process and looks much better than many examples that surface these days. Ditto the rear - the only thing I can spot are a couple of relatively minor indentations. The interior looks great - just one minuscule signature above Jaggers head on the mantle piece. Edge wear is light for this title. There's very little wear on the spine and all text is still legible - this is unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains an impressive original example.
Inner (Ex-) Little ageing, just a bit of wear at the edges. No splits.
