An original 1st press of Beggars Banquet on the UK Decca label. Matrix 1K/1K. Stampers 1-BC/1-M. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo gatefold cover with 'patents pending' [the very earliest issue]. Also included is an original Decca inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. And remember the 50th anniversary of the 1st release of BB is practically upon us..>>> Nov-2018.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely stunning condition and has seen only the lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Quite frankly one of the best renditions of Beggars Banquet I've heard. Very little to find fault with. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Even the acoustic tracks play very clean. Interference is very minor. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. 
Cover (Vg+) In very nice shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. That iconic cover is still relatively clean and is only a suffering a couple of marks in the odd place. The rear is in nice condition too with just a few marks also. The interior is in great shape too with only very light handling. There is some edge wear and this is is most noticeable on the spine. It is well worn, but hasn't worn through at any point. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) lightest of ageing. No splits or markings.
