PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION IN FULL, FIRST!!
An original 1st press of Beggars Banquet on the UK Decca label. Matrix 2K/1K. Stampers 1-BK/1-UK. Please note the speed '33' is not mentioned on either label - this indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo gatefold cover which mentions 'patents pending'. These covers are believed to be the very 1st variant for BB way back in November 1968. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of marks either side - one of which is feelable and does cause an audible issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one noticeable deviation. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Even the acoustic tracks play super-clean and it really is a very impressive rendition. Interference is borderline non-existent apart from one audible problem. There's a just feelable mark across the first few revolutions of 'No Expectations'. It has been thoroughly tested and causes a tick/pop across the first 15 revolutions of the slide-guitar intro. Not horrendous, but certainly easily audible. Thankfully, as Jagger's vocal comes in it peters out quickly - so the track is far from being a write-off. If you can live with this aberration I can assure you the remaining 99% of the album will blow-you-away. Top-level audio reproduction that will sweep you away....
Cover (Vg+) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. That iconic cover is still nice and white and seems to have avoided the ageing process. Front and back are nice and clean with only a couple of light creases and a couple of pin pricks. The interior is in great shape too - only very light handling. Edge wear is relatively light for this title, with a shade more on the spine. A lot of the text on the spine is still legible - don't expect to be able to read all of it perfectly clearly. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
