Description
Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) is the sound of The Rolling Stones becoming unavoidable.
This 1966 U.S. first pressing in MONO collects the run that turned the band from British blues troublemakers into one of the biggest rock acts in the world: (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Paint It Black, Get Off of My Cloud, 19th Nervous Breakdown, The Last Time, Time Is on My Side and more.
The appeal here goes way beyond the track list. This is the classic red London label mono pressing, housed in that incredible fold-out photo gatefold/booklet package that makes the record feel like a full-on piece of mid-’60s Stones history instead of just another greatest-hits album.
The original inner sleeve is included as well, keeping the presentation true to the era.
And the mono mix is a big part of why this pressing is so much fun — punchy, direct, raw, and exactly the way these early Stones singles deserve to hit.
If you want the band at their early peak on original-era vinyl, this is one of the coolest ways to own it: first press, mono, red London labels, killer photo package, and hit after hit after hit.
