Description

An original 1st press of E.O.M.S. on the Rolling Stones label. Matrix A2/B2/C2/D2. Etching 'Artisan' symbol & 'Rolling Stones Records' on both LPs. The vinyl comes housed in an original Shorewood box design cover. Also included are both square cornered Shorewood inner sleeves. No postcards.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-/Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks - but nothing heavy or likely to cause significant issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a variable level of playback between EXCELLENT & NEAR EXCELLENT with a couple of slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a few light ticks in a couple of spots [e.g. Intro to 'Sweet Virginia' & in Shine-A-Light] and then just a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It plays nice and clean for the most part and this makes for an impressive rendition. Sweeeet!
Cover (Vg+) These original box design copies are difficult to find in top condition, but this one has survived the years in surprisingly good condition. There's only a bit of light ageing front and back as is common, but the box is in nice solid shape with good rigidity. Can't really make out any creasing front or back - nice! The interior is in great condition too without issue. There's some edge wear and the text on the right hand spine seems mostly legible.
Inners (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition. No splits. One inner has a sticker mark in the top-right corner.
