Description
Welcome to another auction from
moonie tunes
I am not a dealer, but I have been trading on e-bay since 2002, with items from my own collection.
I have been buying records since I was about eleven years old, the first record bought with my own money was Johnny Keating’s the Theme from Z-Cars.
Now that I have retired I am going to be working my way through my records and CDs, not only items by new bands, but going back over quite a few years now as well.
I hope that over the next few months you might find something of interest.
Artist: The Rolling Stones.
Title: The Rolling Stones (No1)
Year: 1964.
Label: Decca Records.
Cat’ Number: LK4605 (XARL 6271 & XARL 6272)
Mono/Stereo: Mono.
Record Condition: Excellent.
Cover Condition: Excellent.
Other information:
This is a lovely Mono vinyl pressing of this collectable Rolling Stones debut album (The Rolling Stones No1) which is pressed on the boxed Red Decca label, the vinyl is nice and shiny, the sleeve does have slight water damage to the lower corner, more noticeable on the rear (see photographs) but other than that it is in very nice condition.
For those who would like to know these things the numbers in the "dead" wax area of the vinyl are: Side 1 - XARL 6271 6A, Side 2 - XARL 6272 4.
European postage shown; please request postage rates for the rest of the world prior to bidding.
I do combined postage for multiple items; please wait for invoice for postage total. I always use the first class for the UK (unless Signed For/Tracked, Registered or Recorded is requested), and Royal Mail’s International Standard for overseas (unless Signed For/Tracked is requested)
Apologises; but due to problems with a few Russian bidders, I will no longer be posting items to Russia, sorry!
I use the Record Collector grading system when grading albums etc:
Mint: The record & any associated items e.g. inner sleeves, booklets, posters etc are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record show some signs of being played, but with no lessening of sound quality, slight wear and tear to the sleeve and contents.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no deterioration in sound quality, possible slight surface marks & light scratches, normal wear & tear on cover & extra items.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated, the cover & contents could suffer from folding, scuffs to the edges, spine splits etc.
Records& CDs; are posted in strong cardboard cruciform record mailers with packing, they are also posted with the records out of the sleeve, this is to prevent the record cutting through the sleeve during postage, and CDs are posted in bubble bags.
Apologises: I have had to increase the postage costs from £3.20 to £3.50, due to the cost of the strong cruciform record mailers that I now use. I think that the new mailers are worth the extra cost, to enable the albums to get to you in undamaged state.
Please note: my vinyl records are visually graded, as I no longer have a record deck set up (I do not grade in very bright light, just ordinary daylight) If you are unhappy with the grading of any of my items, I always offer a full refund, and unlike most other sellers, if it is my fault, the cost of the return postage as well.
Good luck with your bidding!
