Description

An original late 1st issue of SFs on Rolling Stone Records from whilst charting. Etching 'Rolling Stone Records'. Matrix A4/B4. Note that the labels mention 'recording 1st pub'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with gimmick zip [fully functioning] and pinched spine. The inner sleeve is original as is the credit/poster insert. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of minor deviations. A great little player - very nice and clean by and large. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. The only tracks I detected a touch of light static was in the intros to 'Morphene' and 'I Got the Blues'. And even then it's not like it's up front. It just means it won't play quite as darn clean in that section - that's all. A couple of very low-level ticks observable in one isolated spot per side. Other than that this is one cracking rendition. Super energy and excellent low level detail. 'White Horses' plays superb. Little to take issue with in reality.
Cover (Vg) Looks real nice in the picture, but please note the pics are probably being a bit generous on the ageing front. I'm grading down to VG because there is a reasonable amount of tanning. Still very tidy over all - but the tanning is there and there's no getting away from that. Surface wear is actually less than you find on a lot of copies. Flap has a bit of a bend - but it's still intact. Zip intact and fully functional. Relatively light edge wear for this title. The text on the  spine is fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Insert (Vg+) The band photo is really good. The rear with credits is aged in places.
Inners (Vg) A bit of ageing. No splits.
