Scorpions     "The Scorpions"

This is a French vinyl pressing on RCA NL 70615 from 1985.       It is a 3 LP box set, with three complete albums.       It has their first three RCA albums.          The labels are black with white printing.      It comes with a one-sided insert that shows the album covers and lists the players in the band.    The front cover photo features a great live shot of the band.   

The band is : Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Francis Buchholz, Ulrich Roth, and Herman Rarebell (plus Rudy Lenners on the earliest songs).        This albums were produced by Dieter Dierks.

The songs on "Virgin Killers" are : Pictured Life, Catch Your Train, In Your Park, Backstage Queen, Virgin Killer, Hell Cat, Crying Days, Polar Nights, and Yellow Raven.   

The songs on "In Trance" are : Dark Lady, In Trance, Life's Like A River, Top Of The Bill, Living And Dying, Robot Man, Evening Wind, Sun In My Hand, Longing For Fire, and Night Lights.

The songs on "Fly To The Rainbow" are : Speedy's Coming, They Need A Million, Drifting Sun, Fly People Fly, This Is My Song, Far Away, and Fly To The Rainbow.

Overall Condition is : Box Cover is VG /  Records are M- / VG+ / M-

The box cover is VG with no writing.         There is light cover wear, lots of wear on the edges of the box, and one tiny break in the top of the box on the left in the middle, that has been repaired with clear tape.         The vinyl look near mint and they plays near mint, with light handling marks (except one song on disc two).       Disc one has a very slight pressing wave, that plays through perfectly.        Disc two has a pressing defect on side one, song three, that makes light background 'ticks'.      The labels are clean with no spindle marks.       The records come in special inner sleeves, that have directions on taking care of records printed in English and French.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'.       My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.      I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.

Packaging :                 I will package this so that it can't be crushed.

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
