Yes, it's a compilation album ... the idea (I guess) is for this to be a 'best of' The Smiths. The problem is that I never really liked the Smiths, so this really isn't something I want. That doesn't mean it's bad, but it's really not my choice in music. To be honest, I didn't like the Smiths when they first came out and I still don't -- particularly Morrissey. But whatever. Smiths fans probably wouldn't like the stuff I listen to, so fair and fair, right?
But if you are a Smith's fan (or a Morrissey fan), you *need* this. This is a genuine collectors find. A rare first vinyl pressing in truly astounding condition.
This comes from a smoke-free home.
Condition:
- Vinyl: NM (9/10). The sheen on the vinyl is astounding. No smudges, scratches, wear, warping, scuffs or anything else to soil the deep, shiny black.
- Jacket: EX (8/10). Very minor corner and edge wear. But then again, this was on a shelf for about 33 years now, so of course there will be some wear.
- Play: Near Mint (9/10): I actually listened to this in order to give a play grade, and even though I hate the music, it was pristine. I hope you all appreciate my sacrifice here.
