The Smiths - Meat Is Murder. Rare original Rough Trade 1990 UK Vinyl LP (Rough 81). 'Lyntone' Pressing. Matrix : 'illness as art LYN27907', " Doing The WythenshaweWaltz LYN-27908'. Black labels.
The sleeve is in excellent condition for it's age, no corner creases, tears or splits. There is a tiny, tiny crease line just left of the letter 'E' and the letter 'M' (in the band name) but it is nothing drastic or intrusive at all. The back of the sleeve is very clean with only very slight sings of age and ringwear. There is a very small crease line left of center at the top, but again, it's not something that would shout out at you. I would be happy to grade the sleeve as excellent. It is in wonderful condition.
The inner lyric sleeve (paper, opposed to card on earlier pressings), is also excellent. No corner creases, splits or tears and only a slight sing of age on the top right hand side on the reverse but again I am happy to grade it as excellent.
The LP itself is in beautiful condition and plays wonderfully. I have checked the opening tracks and inbetween and there is hardly any surface noise, buzz or hiss. It sounds fantastic.
