Description
Hard times and lack of both space and a record deck mean that I am offering for sale a number of prize vinyl items from my personal collection.
Here is an original copy of the rare as rare can be White Label test pressing of The Smiths Meat is Murder Live 12” single.
This was produced before the decision was taken to issue That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore instead, and it bears the same catalogue number RTT186.
Please forgive me for originally putting The Boy With The Thorn In His Side in here instead of That Joke... - what can I say, I'm old, tired and rather foolish.

I bought it from a record shop in London at the time it was issued and have only played it a couple of times.
I don’t have the means to play it at present, but the disc appears in pretty much mint condition with no visible marks or scratches; the sleeve is a plain white card affair which is in good condition for its age.
The runout grooves have the following etched on them
- Side A
- RTT 186 A1 and Our Souls Our Souls Our Souls.
- Side B
- RTT 186 B1
The "Our Souls" appear one above the other as opposed to in a long line as on the That Joke... final version of RTT 186, also the etching on the This Joke... version has RTT 186 A2 and RTT 186 B2.
