Description

You are looking at an early folk-rock album by THE SOJOURNERS entitled IN HIS STEPS released on Quadrum Records in 1972.

You might have noticed this obscure album pictured along with several others inside the cover of the Jesus Power compilation.  The Sojourners are Dick Williams and Gary Phillips.  They perform twelve of their own songs here in a basic acoustic format with just guitar backing their stirring harmonies.  One of the guys sounds a little like Robert Edwin.  Some similarities to the simple folk style of the first Dust & Ashes record.     (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
