Description
The Specials AKA , Gangsters / The Selecter . The selecter.
This is the single that kicked it all off in 1979.
If you know your 2 tone history, you will know what this is.
Before the 2 tone sleeve was used, the first few, (couple of hundred as far as I can find out),
were hand stamped by the band. Depending on which story you read, it took place over various kitchen tables!!
I cannot confirm the kitchen table bit, but where ever it took place, this is one of the first sleeved of the 2 tone story.
If you are not familiar with the story, google it.

The sleeve is a plane paper with printing on one side.
The other side has a small tear that has been repaired with sellotape. Fortunately this is not on the front.
Although the sleeve is the main point of this item, we must not forget the vinyl.
Paper labels in very nice condition. Vinyl is in excelent condition, (a couple of very slight marks).
