Description

This is the first pressing of The Stooges' 1970 album "Funhouse" on Elektra Records (Butterfly label). Lead by the legendary Iggy Pop on lead vocals, the rest of the Stooges included: Dave Alexander on Bass, Ron Ashton on Guitar, his brother, Scott Ashton on Drums and Steven Mackay on tenor Sax. The Producer was Don Gallucci. All 7 original songs were written by The Stooges. (See Pics)  The cover is a gatefold style. The music is often described as the original American very early 70's Punk Rock, loud and snotty.  This collectible item offers fans of The Stooges a rare and valuable piece of music history from the iconic era of early US 1970s rock. Also included is the Original Elektra "Butterfly" Inner Sleeve. Vinyl: Ex. Cover: EX/VG++, there is a small "Cutout Hole" in the upper right-hand corner on the front. Labels: NM Inner Sleeve: VG+, slight tear in the corner area of the "Cutout Hole".
