~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this Rare Canadian Garage 45 by The Townsmen entitled " Backyards" b/w " He's In Town" on Regency Records R 975, original Canadian pressing from 1967.
Rare and incredibly great B-Side Canadian Garage fuzz 45 release by The Townsmen that gets very little attention from hard core garage fuzz collectors because of it's obscure title hidden on the B-Side. The A-Side is a beautiful pop ballad.
Features fast paced pulsating fuzzy electric guitar riffs throughout and powerful garage vocals with fantastic killer keyboard work chords and tons of fuzzed out electronic effects ...better than "Take A Heart" in many regards.
This rare original release by this Ottawa band had a small pressing run that is very difficult to locate in true near mint condition.
This exceptional 45 is truly worth adding to your existing garage fuzz 45 collection...really!
An outstanding near mint copy with super clean vinyl and labels, including the almost impossible to find original Regency sleeve
