You are bidding on this 45 By The Townsmen "He's In Town"  b/w "Backyards" on Regency Records R 975 from 1967

This was Ottawa, Canada vocal group-the Townsmen's final single for the Regency label-the A side- "He's in Town" is a lushly performed cover of the Gerry Goffin/Carol King tune originally performed by the Tokens-which shows of the band's amazing vocal harmonies and skills as musicians.  It's flip side "Backyards" an up beat Rockin' mersey/ freakbeat styled psychedelic band original shows the group ad it's heaviest, still retaining it's stunning vocal harmonies, but showing a harder edge.  A year later, the group would be back with one last single on Polydor-but that's another story.  Very rare to find in this condition.
