Description

Up for auction is the 1967 record of The Velvet Underground. Its a ground breaking album that is normally in the top ten of records that are considered as being significant in establishing a certain genre' of music. This album and cover are in great shape considering that the album is 46 years old.  As for condition the cover  is the first pressing with the head and torso clearly present on the back. It has NOT been air brushed out as in later pressings The cover has a light amount of age toning.  The seams and spine are strong. I would grade it as a nice VG++. The yellow banana is totally intact and has not been peeled off. It is also a strong VG++. The record is extremely beautiful with no lines or scuffs. It looks like its barely been played and grades out to MINT MINUS to Mint. This album also comes with the correct inner sleeve which is in excellent condition.  All in all a great package.
