Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. RARE USA 1966 ORIGINAL ATCO PROMOTION 7"SINGLE IN ORIGINAL COVER (45-6509)
A very hard to find USA Atco Promo. This features Substitute on Both sides of the record .What makes this record interesting is that the vocal take is totally different to the standard UK recording including the different line "I keep walking forward and my feet go back", This replaced the "I look all white and my dad was black" lyrics that was considered offensive in the USA. This Demo very rarely shows up for sale and this is a really nice example.
The record is in really great condition,I will grade as EXCELLENT condition. The record is very clean for its age and for a Demo it is in wonderful condition. The record plays with superb sound on both sides.The record has beautiful sparkling playing surfaces with their full wonderful gloss.I I am happy to report this is a great example of this rare USA PROMO single that very rarely shows up for sale.

The Labels
Are in Excellent condition and are very nice as you will see below , NO writing just a couple of minor scuffs,As you will see for demo labels they are superb.
The Cover
The is in a lovely Excellent Condition. As you will see by the pictures it is in great condition for a fragile paper cover. This is the original cover the single came with when made in 1966.
This would be an ace part of any who collection.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
