Description
The Wailers - Catch A Fire
Very Early UK Vinyl LP with "Zippo Sleeve" & "Basing Street, London" under Island logo. Island Records - 1973 - ILPS 9241
Vinyl: Vg / Vg+ Mainly light marks.
Matrix Nos: A-3U / B-4U. Both sides "STERLING".
Playback: Vg+ Plays with occasional crackle, tick & pop which can be heard in the quieter parts.
Labels: Ex- Clean.
Zippo Sleeve: Vg+ Fully intact, working & solid. Some light rubbing. Sticker damage to the front (see photo).
Original Black Shaped Inner: Vg- Some fraying / wear and small tear.
Condition adheres to the Record Collector Grading System - see below:
Mint / Mn: The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any inners / inserts etc. are in perfect condition.
Excellent / Ex: The record shows some signs of being played with occasional fine marks but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The sleeve and inner / inserts may have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good / Vg: The record has obviously been played many times and may have slight deterioration in sound quality, noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. The sleeve and inner / inserts will have wear and tear as expected for its age.
Good / G: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from significant folding, scuffing of edges, discoloration etc.
These grades can be more precise with a plus (+) or minus (-).
Securely packed / despatched in a MusicMax Vinyl Record Mailer with stiffener. l will combine carriage for multiple purchases for mainland UK deliveries. International deliveries will be handled by the Global Shipping Program (GSP).
