This superb 1st UK MONO pressing of their impressive second album dates from initial August 1966 release.
This earliest pressing is on the textured black & silver Philips label: BL.7732
Matrix numbers: 14574 1L//2 & 14562 2L//2
Stamper codes: 11 7 & 11 6
Vinyl weight: 138g
Housed in a front laminated UK printed cover, lacking insert.
Complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
A clean & unworn set bearing just a small handful of light faint spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole only. There is also a longer mark on the side 2 label which just extends into the run out.
Disc
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Flawless factory-fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight AND directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: MINT
Played with extreme care a couple of times on quality equipment, the sound is incredible throughout and will not disappoint.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A fine example which bears totally unworn & unscratched high-gloss front laminate with no 'thumbnail' wrinkles.
There are tiny bruises to the lower left & upper right corners but no other traces of wear on this well-preserved cover.
The exposed rear panel is clean & unblemished and all flipbacks are intact & undamaged.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine clean & perfectly worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Slight age toning but fully intact with no writing, tears or seams splits.
