Description
The White Stripes: "Party Of Special Things To Do" 7” EP, Sub Pop Records, SP 527, USA, 2000.
The outer sleeve is in EX condition.
(The sleeve has no writing on it, no stamp marks, no tears or water damage. The corners of the sleeve have been very lightly bent. The singles club membership coupon is still attached to the sleeve, but has come loose for the first 2 cm.)
The record is in EX+ condition.
(The label shows faint traces of ring wear. The record plays with the slightest of surface noise due to pressing quality. It looks like new!)
This is the ORIGINAL US pressing of this title, it was limited to 1300 copies and only available to members of the Sub Pop Singles Club. This particular single was the Christmas special in 2000. The record is pressed on SPECTACULAR RED AND WHITE SWIRL VINYL.

Side One: SP-527-A GOLDEN
Side Two: SP-527-B GOLDEN
The record has been graded strictly, aurally as well as visually.
Contains three cleverly chosen Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band covers from three different eras in Captain’s output. We have “China Pig” from the late 1960’s Trout Mask Replica era, title track “Party Of Special Things To Do” from the mid-1970’s Tragic Band era and finally “Ashtray Heart” from Beefheart’s late 1970’s return to the form. All good reworkings.
