Description
The Who - Quadrophenia 2 LP. This is the 2007 Classic Records 140g issue. This jacket is an exact replica of Track 2657 013 (not even a barcode added), and pressed onto 2 140g LPs. New, sealed, perfect condition (the Classic Records seal is intact and unpeeled).
While some may wish to hunt down the far more rare 200g Quirex vinyl issue (which is almost impossible to find), please take comfort in the fact this issue shares the same stampers as the 200g, and the sound is dead quiet and perfect, and there is no benefit to acquiring the 200g other than to be completist.
Perhaps the ultimate issue regarding sound quality and listening experience that exists for this classic recording.
***Some insider info on this pressing that I have just learned - apparently there were quality control issues with the 200g pressings, including warping and surface noise. The 140g/150g/180g pressing did not suffer from these issues, and they are generally knows as dead quiet, flat pressings. So this would make the 140g a much more desirable issue over the 200g.***
