Looking for a proper 1st press that plays great without shelling loads out? Providing you can compromise on the cover a bit...a total banger!
An original 1st press of WN on UK TRACK label. Matrix 2/1 - 1st cut. Etching "MG12888". Lovely heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original MacNeill cover. There's also an original period inner.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can make out a few slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just one deviation.  Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Great energy from this near-master copy and a very capable player. It has certainly seen some use - but you know what...very little evidence of use in the audio. I like! Those tricky synthesizer track intros are playing clean - and that's not always an easy find. I detected a few minor crackles in one brief moment per side. A few at the start of 'Blue Eyes' - which plays superb! And then some small markings at the start of FOOLED...cause a couple of clicks and crackles right at the outset. To be honest ..it is brief and vanishes almost immediately. This track is otherwise - fantastic. A cracking little copy - at a sensible price!
Cover (Vg) Ok - this is where the compromise is...Relatively unworn front but a couple of blemishes top left corner. Front looks tidy. The rear is showing some surface wear as is common. Slight edge wear in the odd spot. Spine exhibits some wear but text mostly still legible. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits.
