Description
A brand new 10 track EP featuring 60's rock groups singing the "Great Shakes" commercial jingle. It's The Who, The Yardbirds, The Tokens, Spencer Davis Group, The Chiffons, The Blues Magoos, The Happenings & Dusty Springfield adapting the intro of one of their hit songs into the (very catchy) Great Shakes Jingle, & actually reading the advertising copy, obviously for radio airplay. As a bonus, it also includes The Troggs for H.I.S. & The Stone Ponys doing the Pepsi jingle. This is all presented on a translucent lemon yellow 7" single with a very nice picture sleeve. This is a nice example of 60's commercialism tied to rock music for the younger generation. Very Rare!
