THELONIOUS MONK - BRILLIANT CORNERS Thelonious Monk -piano and celeste*, Clark Terry** - trumpet, Ernie Henry - alto sax, Sonny Rollins - tenor sax, Oscar Pettiford or Paul Chambers** - bass, Max Roach - drums and tympany - Brilliant Corners (Monk) - Ba-Lue Bolivar Ba-Lues-Are (Monk) - Pannonica (Monk)* - I Surrender Dear (Clifford-Barris) - solo piano - Bemsha Swing (Monk-Best)** omit Ernie Henry - London Records Jazz Series LTZ-U15097 issued 1958 originally Riverside label recording December 1956 Sleeve VG noticeable edge wear particularly at the sleeve opening where there is a small tear at the bottom RH corner. Ring wear and yellowing and a little grubbiness on the reverse side also contribute to the grading made. It is offered with a newish polythene outer sleeve and a new inner paper and polythene sleeve
