Ok, I thought I was out of the old jazz guys, but I found some more cool ones in the cabinets! I am fully aware of the value of this album but I start all of my albums ar $4.99 with no reserve. The market will drive them where they need to be. Of all of the Jazz albums that I have sold over the past months, this one is the cleanest one yet. Check my feedback from others who have purchased Jazz albums from me to see how they have been pleased with their purchases! These records are coming from a single collection that I purchased a couple of years ago inside of three wooden 3' tall record cabinets and there have been some really good ones that I have sold in the same manner. Watch for Thelonious Monk's Second and Fourth Riverside Albums to be listed shortly! This third album Thelonious Monk put out on Riverside RLP-12-226 is called “Brilliant Corners” and this album is a very very clean album, label and cover in all respects!! I played both sides on the record on a Pioneer direct drive with a Pickering cartridge through a 1970’s Pioneer SX-1250 receiver and a pair of Klipsch La Scala Theater speakers. I played it with the treble set to 10+ on the 10kHz dial and 5+ on the 20kHz dial to pick up any high end noise and I think that this picks up too much sound that you probably would not hear on a less complicated stereo unit. There were no skips and very little noise at this level. There is one spot on the cut #2 of side 1 about ½ way through were there were 4 pops and I believe this is from a pinhead sized spot that looks like it might be something on the record that might be able to be removed (but if I tried to do something I would probably ruin the record). The bass solo on cut #2 on side 1 and the other bass solo on side 1 were great and the whole record is pretty much free of any background noise, just mostly great clean music! The labels are NM as you can see by the photos. The cover is probably VG++ or better with it’s original gloss and no damage to it or the seams. No original sleeve. NO RESERVE!!

Ending auctions early: I will not end my auctions early for any reason. Why? Because people want to bid with someone who does not accept side-bids during an auction. People want to know that the item they are bidding on or watching and waiting to bid on will be there for the duration of the auction.
Shipping: Regardless of what eBay calculates during the auction for shipping cost, I will send an invoice THROUGH EBAY with the correct shipping amount. I charge only for actual shipping costs and I do attempt to find the most reasonable method of shipping. If you request UPS I will take the item to the UPS Customer Counter and the charge will be $5.00 handling charge as it takes me about 2 gallons of gas to make the trip. I pack better than most professional Pack’n’Ship places to which my feedback will attest. If there are packaging supplies needed, such as Styrofoam Peanuts or a quantity of 1 inch Styrofoam sheets, I do charge for the amount used, as I have to pay for it out of my pocket to assure a safe delivery!

Guarantees: The majority of the items I sell are antiques and as such are not perfect or without flaws.
