Original Year of Pressing: very first UK pressing from 1972, on the famous and rare green coloured and smaller sized label, year indication at the bottom of the label

Matrix numbers: ZAL11209 P2, ZAL11210 P3 - both sides machine stamped matrix

Grading: I do not grade Mint on anything even if there is an overwhelming case to do so. That’s my choice, I simply believe any item has a fault somewhere if you look close enough or playcheck thoroughly. The album is playgraded in its entirity as I play all records I offer before listing. Not only randomly chosen parts are checked for sound quality and quietness, but I play from the beginning to the end at a high volume and carefully listen to by headphones which gives the best option for tracing any blemish or minuscule sound present on the record that might affect audio quality. I do even record the entire LP during the control play, in order to be able to answer any possible further questions and play the music without giving the chance of using the LP once more for playcheck.

COVER:

FOC Cover: Near Mint

Robert Stace non laminated sleeve, looking extremely great, with very very slight scuffing and creasing marks detectable at certain places IF ANY, no other shelfwear. Edges still firm and clean, spine clean and clear and square, text is readable. No tears, no price labels, no ringwear, no writing. Sharp opening edges.

Original poly-lined Decca inner: Near Mint condition, no seam splits, strong and sharp edges all around with minimal signs of use at all. Very mild ageing may be detected under very thorough inspection.

VINYL:

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: Near Mint

Very mild whisp of surface traces are the evidence of having been removed only a few times from the original factory inner sleeve. A copy that is absolutely still shiny, intense black, as it had obviously few plays only during the times since buying. The vinyl is removed from the original poly-lined Decca inner and is placed in a new and clean poly-lined plain white inner for transport. Awesome piece for a final upgrade.

Sound Quality and Audio Grading: Near Mint

This record plays up to it’s visual grading with nothing serious to fault the grading. Strong sound, all frequencies clear. Certainly, no skips, no jumps, no physical disturbance to perfect play from run-ins till run-offs. Certain slight, very moderate background noise, with very mild crackles here and there may appear, revealed if any, mostly at the quieter parts, with one or two occasional dust pops at different places, what appears in every case when a record has already been removed from its sleeve.

Once again, this record was obviously played a mere few times only, and not more, well cared for during the years, kept in plastic bag on the shelf, therefore gives a great and strong audio playback.

Labels: Near Mint

Both labels in great condition, clean, with no harm, no writing, no other mark, two or three spindle traces detectable, and that is all.

Packing: All records are posted in professional boxes. The record(s) are removed from their main cover to avoid edge splits and placed within a brand new polylined inner. The record’s original inner will be included if available. The boxes are then reinforced with at least two stiffeners for maximum extra protection.
