A live recording of the voice of Thomas A. Edison is heard on this Diamond Disc Edison 50509 (mx. 6540-A). He gives the talk "A Message To The American People-Let Us Not Forget" in a response to the end of WWI. I believe that this was done in 1919.

On the reverse side, the New York Military Band plays "National Airs Of The Allies."

The record is in nice excellent to excellent-plus (E to E+) condition.
